About These Terms
These terms apply to all services provided by Bytex Systems, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16569996), 2 Walthams, Pitsea, Basildon SS13 3QT, United Kingdom. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
Our Services
We provide digital services including SEO, local SEO, website design and development, e-commerce development, PPC management, social media marketing, UI/UX design and mobile app development. The exact scope, deliverables and timelines for each project will be set out in a written proposal or quote.
Quotes and Payments
- All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Project work may require a deposit before it begins. The remaining balance is due as set out in your proposal.
- Monthly services such as SEO, PPC and social media are billed in advance each month.
- Invoices are payable within [14] days of the invoice date.
- We may pause work on accounts with overdue payments.
Client Responsibilities
To help us deliver your project on time, you agree to:
- Provide content, images, logins and feedback promptly
- Make sure any materials you supply do not infringe anyone else’s rights
- Review and approve work within agreed timeframes
- Delays in providing information or approvals may affect project timelines.
Results and Guarantees
We use proven, ethical, white-hat methods and always work to achieve the best possible results. However, search engine rankings, traffic and advertising performance depend on factors outside our control, such as algorithm changes and competition. We therefore cannot guarantee specific rankings or results.
Intellectual Property
Once all payments are made in full, ownership of the final website design and content we create specifically for you passes to you. We retain ownership of our own tools, code libraries and know-how. Third-party items, such as themes, plugins, fonts and stock images, remain subject to their own licences. We may display completed work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Cancellation and Refunds
- Project work: if you cancel a project after work has started, you will be charged for the work completed up to that point. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.
- Monthly services: you can cancel with [30] days’ written notice. Fees already paid for the current month are non-refundable.
- Advertising spend: money paid directly to platforms such as Google or Meta is managed by those platforms and cannot be refunded by us.
Limitation of Liability
We will provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as loss of profits or data, or for issues caused by third-party services, hosting providers or platforms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies at the time you engage our services.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
