Our knowledge of your needs and the timeline provided determines all projected costs. Any changes to features, including micro-improvements, may lead to additional expenses. In a face-to-face meeting, kindly confirm and specify requirements and demands.
• By acknowledging a quotation, you concur with and accept Bytex System’s policies and terms. Acknowledgment can be oral or via email.
• Our webpages are generally tested on PCs using the most recent versions of the following browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Please inform us in advance if you require testing on any other browser.
• iPhones and iPads are used to check and test the responsive compatibility of web pages. If you want testing on another device, please notify us ahead of time.
• If your webpage is not hosted on a synapse server, any extra hours required due to network issues are not included in our quotes and will be charged separately.
• Please remember that any project stalling for more than two months will incur $99/week in admin costs. Furthermore, it has the potential to raise previously approved estimates. Putting a project on hold requires prior notice; otherwise, it will not be addressed by the team.
• When you put a project on hold, there are no additional charges. However, we will require account updates before proceeding. A detailed discussion can be held if such a situation arises.
• Bytex System software codes (excluding open-source software) are protected by copyright. Once all previous receipts have been settled, the codes can be provided for an additional cost. The codes are tailored for customer re-use but cannot be resold or duplicated under any circumstances.
• Bytex System owns the copyright to all codes written for any respective client. We guarantee a license for the client’s exclusive use of custom-built software. This license is included as part of the hosting fee but cannot be transferred to any external host, and no access to the software codes is permitted.
• The website/application is carefully developed using commercial-grade internet standards. It may not perform optimally if implemented on an office network based on website traffic.
• Bytex System makes every effort to assess the suitability of any third-party elements; however, unforeseen limitations of third-party components are beyond our control. Purchase costs for SSL, Payment Gateway, Google AdWords, Plug-in licenses, etc., are not included in our estimates.
• Bytex System accepts no liability for open-source solutions like WordPress, Joomla, etc. It is the client’s responsibility to keep all components and third-party software up to date. To avoid disruptions, we recommend regular maintenance.
• Bytex System provides services in collaboration with third-party vendors. Changes in third-party provider policies may affect our services.
• Sometimes, delays can be unavoidable. As long as we make a reasonable effort to stay on track with the proposed schedule, you will not penalize us for unintentional delays.
• Domain registration, renewal, and other related charges are not included in our projects or proposals unless specified. If a client pays for such items, we will provide a separate estimate for approval.
• Hosting fees are not included in the quotation. If needed, Bytex System can arrange a suitable hosting solution, for which a quote will be provided separately for client approval. If clients manage their web host, we should be consulted before finalizing the type of web host and data system, as it must meet development technology requirements. Full server and hosting support access is needed to test and deploy the application. Bytex System will not be held responsible for disruptions or errors caused by hosting providers.
• We typically test websites on servers or domains hosted by us. We do not permit third-party access to our test servers. The website can be transferred to a third-party server after payment of all outstanding invoices.
• Upon payment of all outstanding invoices, Bytex System grants the client unconditional permission to use the visual elements, text, and images on the website. This does not include intellectual property related to site creation, such as scripts, databases, or development features.
• Email is the primary method of communication. Clients must keep us updated on their current email addresses.
• Clients must ensure that all requirements are included in the quotations and that we fully understand their needs. Clear instructions and specific details should be provided; otherwise, we will proceed based on our understanding. Any discrepancies may result in additional costs. Therefore, it is essential to clarify all project details to ensure accurate quotes.
• Any specific nuances or special requests must be communicated in advance and included in the proposal to monitor the project scope. Bytex System relies on clients to provide complete information upfront. We are not liable for discrepancies due to unclear requirements.
• Each project includes a fixed number of hours. Minor changes within this timeframe are allowed, but will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Bytex System will make every effort to complete the project/changes within the stipulated timeframe. However, if features are revised or altered, reasonable delays are acceptable.
• Client-side delays may impact the project timeline and result in additional expenses.
• Refunds or credits are not provided unless required by law or at our sole discretion.
• Bugs (programming errors) identified during or immediately after development will not incur additional charges.
• Any rework on a previously completed task will require additional fees. Changes to the layout after initial approval will also incur extra costs.
• Any changes requested during development or after Go-Live will incur additional costs. All extra work will be charged separately, and Bytex System is not liable for disruptions resulting from project modifications.
• All website content and relevant materials must be provided within the first two weeks of the project start. Delays in providing content may delay the project and potentially result in additional charges if they exceed a reasonable time frame.
